Date Night: Pop the Question(s)!

This is one of our first posts under the category of “Date Night“. Here you will find date ideas, tips and general thoughts on dating. You can expect to see more stuff like this on our blog every Friday  moving forward – Enjoy!

So you’re about to go out on the ever-so-important FIRST DATE. This person could actually be THE ONE. You have 101 random thoughts going through your mind every minute- what to wear, what to say, how to look, how to ACT! The pressure’s on and there’s no room for error!

Finding out key things about this person is essential after all, time is precious (and running out!!). There’s no point wasting time on Mr./Mrs. WRONG, when Mr./Mrs. RIGHT could be one bad date away! Asking the right questions on the first date is a surefire way to gauge whether or not this relationship is heading somewhere promising. Below is the TwoMangoes top ten essential questions to ask on your first date:
1. Where do you see yourself 5 years from today? 10 years from today?
2. How do you handle conflicts and what’s your style of resolving arguments?
3. What are your top three proudest achievements thus far in your life?
4. What are your top 5 priorities in life?
5. How do you define success?
6. Who are your biggest sources or inspiration and motivation?
7. What faults do you think you have that you’d like to work on?
8. Do you identify with a particular religion/faith? How does this play into your life/lifestyle
9. What do you look for in a life partner?
10. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Now we all know that popping these questions on a first date may seem a little over-the top. If you sense that the date is going well and that the other person may share the same feelings as you do, try to get the conversation going into a direction where bringing these questions up in a non-obvious way wont look overly-eager..or awkward.
We hope these questions help you on the quest to find ‘the one’. Now go on and get those questions popping!!
